Claire Weissbluth is a filmmaker based in Oakland, CA. She graduated from Hampshire College and has a Master’s degree in Social Documentation from UC Santa Cruz, where she directed, produced, shot and edited Lonche, a short documentary about taco trucks.
She is the assistant editor of the ITVS-supported web series The F Word, and has edited short documentaries including Sunday Dinner, The Act of Being, and two films that were finalists in the International Documentary Challenge. She is currently in production on her first feature documentary, Grassroots.
Claire also teaches video production and photography classes for youth at MetWest High School as part of the Media Enterprise Alliance/KDOL-TV.
